One of our most magical moments came on the first day of the photosafari tour, in Arusha National Park. We came around a hill and saw some shapes on the lake below. We paused and watched a family of giraffes in and around two islands on the shallow lake. There were two on the island and three or four on the shore, including a couple of babies. Then one of the adults on the island headed very slowly across the water to join his family on the shore.
