I once owned a farm in Jefferson County, Tenn. the first cost was $400. dollars, and I sold it for $710  me & family then moved to Bledsoe Co, Tenn. and I purchased a nother farm for $800. I improved and beautifiedit, and lived on it 14 years. I then sold it to William Worthington for $1800. I then purchased a farm of some 900 acres of Major Lowrey in Warren Co. Tenn for some $2000. in cash and if we are spared we expect to remove there by the first of March 1850.
