July 14, 1932 - May 18, 2014 OKLAHOMA CITY Joyce Blalock Sehorn died May 18, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Waldron, Arkansas, July 14, 1932, to Lester and Rosie Richmond. She began school at 3 years of age and graduated at the age of 16. She married Otis Blalock on October 1, 1952, and with his being in the U.S. Army, they were stationed all over the world, such as Germany, Greenland, Korea and France. Otis died April 15, 1985. In May of 1964, they adopted three-month-old Debbie in New Orleans, LA. Joyce was a realtor and known success, being a top seller in the 1970s and '80s for Dub Stone Real Estate and the Roy McCoy Real Estate Companies. Joyce married Bill Sehorn in 1991. He preceded her in death in January of 2012. Joyce retired in 2000 as secretary for Pipkin and Estes, Attorneys at Law. Joyce will be remembered as a loving mother who treasured time with her family and caring for her pets. She also enjoyed attending estate sales, antiquing and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Melba Hill and Sue Rogers; niece, Brenda Hill; and Joyce's two husbands, Otis and Bill. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Lykins and husband Eddie; brother, Andy Richmond and his wife JoAnn and their children, Todd, Chad, Jonathan and their grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your local animal rescue or humane society to honor Joyce's memory. A private memorial will be held in the home at a later date.
