He is named in his father's will and listed in the "Tenth Legion Tithables for Rockingham Cty, Virginia". He is listed in the 1810 census and again in the 1820, An abstract of his will is in the book, "Virginia Valley Records" written 12/10/1838 and a codicil was written July11, 1840. It list all of his children and his second wife Susannah. He mentions his son-in-laws Flook, Weaver, Blossom, Shoemaker, and Zetty and Garber and says the first six named heirs are children of his first wife. He tells us his plantation is on the southeast side of the dry fork of Smith's Creek. His son Peter Zetty, Jr and friend Isaac Thomas were executirs. There are land grants found at the University of Virginia for Peter for Brock's gap and "Limestone Ridge". On his marriage certificate for Susannah it lists him as Peter Zetty, Sr.
