Mrs Etta Bacon

Fall Branch (Spl.)  --Mrs Etta Bacon 87 died at Holston Valley Community Hospital at 1:30 p.m. Monday after a long illness.
A member of Bethany Baptist Church she was born in Hamblen County and moved to Washington County early in life. For the past few years she had made her home with her son Bill Bacon at Fall Branch.
Survivors are three sons Tom of Kingsport, Adam and Bill Bacon of Fall Branch; two daughters Mrs Lillie Mae Barnes of Fall Branch and Mrs Betty Jane Bains of Jonesboro Route 7; four sisters Mrs Maude Cox state of Washington; Mrs Amanda Hunt Morristown; Mrs Lula Chase Dallas, Texas and Mrs Ida Walker Jonesboro Route 7; three brothers Carl and Coy Bacon of Fordtown and Perry Bacon of Bristol, Tenn; a number of nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.  The Rev Tom Crawford and the Rev Reed Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Sulphur Springs Cemetery.
Grandchildren will be pallbearers.
The body was to be moved from Fall Branch Funeral Home to Bill Bacon's home after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
