BACON, ROBERT ALLEN - age 86 of Strawberry Plains formerly of LaFollette passed away Monday at Baptist West Hospital. He attended Sevier Heights Baptist Church, a Veteran of the United States Navy and was a retired owner and manager of the Western Sizzlin Steak House in LaFollette. Preceded in death by his wife Mildred E. Bacon and a brother Raleigh D. Bacon Sr. He is survived by his daughter Brenda Goble and husband Dallas of Strawberry Plains; granddaughter Lindsey Chapman of Corryton; 2 great grandchildren Kylie and Luke Chapman and his aunt Betty Bacon of Knoxville. Funeral service 1:00 P.M. Friday Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel, with Rev. Matt Powell officiating. Interment will follow services in Lynnhurst Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Volunteer State Veterans Honor Guard.
