"WILL OF BENJAMIN HULL 1733
Proved January 4, 1733
In the name of God Amen the Seventh day of June in the year of our Lord one Thousend Seven hundred thirty one O Benjamin Hull of Piscadua in the County of Midelsex and Province of New Jersey Ueoman being of perfect mind and memory but calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is Appointed for all men once to die do make and Ordain this my last will and testament. First of all I give and recommend my Soul to God that gave it and for my body I recommend to the Earth to be buried in a Christian like manner at the discretion of my Executors. And as touching Such worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me withall in this life I give devise and dispose of the Same in the following manner and form.
Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my well beloved Wife Sarah Hull after all my debts and funeral Charges are Fully Satisfied and paid one third part of my moveable Estate as also the benefit of the Home Lott provided She Shall use the best of her Endevour Either to Lease it out or Otherwise to Sell it to the highest Purchaser. I further Order that after my decease all my Other Lands to be Sold to ye Best Purchaser And the money to be equally divided with the Interest thereof between my five Sons Benjamin Hull Trustrum Hull Jacob Hull Reuben Hull and Meshach Hull but of any of my abovesaid five Sons die without Issue that then and in Such Case his or their part So dying Shall go to the Survivors of them then living to be equally divided by even and equal parts: but if any of the above mentioned Brothers be married and Should happen to die then his or their parts So married Shall go to his or their Heirs and Assigns for ever.
Item I further give and _________? And shall satisfy all the debts due to me after my decease. And as for the two thirds of my moveable Estate I will and Order after all my debts are fully Satisfied and paid that they be devided according to the discretion of my Said Wife.
Item I give to my Son Joseph Hull ten Shillings
Lastly I Constitute make and Ordain Sarah Hull my beloved Wife Executrix and Joseph Fitsrandolph and John Skillman Executors of this my last Will and testament And I do Utterly disallow revoke and disannul all and Every other former testaments Wills and Legacys Requests and Executors by me in any was before this time named Willed and bequeathed Ratifying and Confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament.
