They may be descendants of a Dutch immigrant, Jurian Westphal. Here is the information that I have on him:
He was from Luyderdorp (van Luyderdorpst in Dutch).
"Styntie van Kuykendall (daughter of Luur Jacobsen van Kuykendall and Grietje Aertze Tack) b. 2 Apr 1682 Kingston d. 1715 Minisink m. Jurian Westvael circa 1710."

"The progenitor of the Westfall's in America was Jurian Westphael, or Van Westphalen. His name indicates that he emigrated to this country from Westphalin or Westphalia. His wife was Maritje Hansen. He was one of the first settlers of Ulster County locating there prior to 1657, as in the description of certain lands purchased by the Indians in 1654 and patented in 1657 one of its bounds was described as a little kill" which separates it from the land where Jurian van Westphalen now lives."

The children of Jurian Westphael, the emigrant, and Maritje Hansen were: Johannes, married Maritje Cool; Abell, bap. Sep. 25, 1661; Symen, bap. Sept. 30, 1663, m. Neeltje Quackenbos; Elsjen, bap. June 27, 1666; Niclaes, m. 1st Maria Montagnje of Mombaccus, April 21, 1701.

"Jurian Westphael married Maria Caudebec 20 Aug 1716."

Where did Jemima Westfall come from?
It started with Jurian (George) Westfall "native of Prussia" who, at the age of 13, was living in Leyderdorp, the Netherlands (Holland) when he sailed from Texal Jun 6, 1642 aboard the Houttuyn ---the boat arrived in New Amsterdam (New York City) Aug. 4, 1642.
It is not known if his parents were still alive in Prussia, living in Holland or died aboard ship.

(I am putting "*" by the direct line to hopefully make this easier to follow.)

There are really only three branches of Westfalls. Rymerick Westfall born about 1655 was born before the Dutch Reformed Church was built and the records begin. Her marriage to Thomas Quick is recorded there.

The other main branches were from John Westfall and Simon Westfall. Simon Westfall was baptised 9/30/1663 at the Dutch Reformed Church, Kingston, New Netherlands (NY). He married Cornelia Quackenbush dau of Walter and Cornelia (Gilbert). Walter was a son of Peter born-Leerdam, Netherlands (Holland) 1639 died- NY 1696, he and his wife Maria were early immigrants.

*Simon and Cornelia had Maria, Walter,Gilbert, Cornelius, Gertrude, Anna, Leah and Rachel, and

She was the dau. of John and Sabina (Kirstead) DeWitt. Sabina was a descendant of Anna Van Webber, Masterson, Bogart of the Royal family of Holland.
Jurian and Dinah had:

Simon and Jane had:
*Simon Westfall Bp. Feb. 12, 1749 d-War of 1812, married 1765 to Sarah Cole dau. of David and Eleanor (Westfall) Cole. Their first three children died in infancy.

  8. John DeWitt Jr. m-Esther Westbrook dau. of Wm.

You remember, I mentioned Thomas Quick and Rymerick Westfall? Well, to make a long story short the line goes like this:
*Jurian (George Westfall) who is one that came over on the boat had:
*Rymerick who married Thomas Anthony Quick about Dec. 7, 1672. This is the date their bonds were posted. They had:
*Anna Quick who was born in 1673, married Henry Decker, and they had:
