1901 Hutcheson Family Gathering-Annotated

The five large ovals in this image cover the immediate families of five children of Flavius Josephus Hutcheson and Narcissa Ann Myers (better known as Joe and Cissy). This gathering was almost certainly for the wedding of Joe with his second wife, Tennie Welch.

Caption	The 1901 Hutcheson Family Reunion with annotation. Five of Joe Hutcheson's eight children who grew to adulthood are present. My grandmother, Edith Hutcheson, is in the front, near her parents. Note that Nancy (Nanny) Hutcheson married a cousin, Mack Hutcheson. Thomas Alfred Hutcheson married a cousin, too, though his wife, Mamie, is not in the picture. Also, John Byron Rankin is Martha Melcina (Hutcheson) Pankey's son by her first marriage. His father died when he was 2. His son is the only great-grandchild of Joe Hutcheson at this point.
