Janell Morrow Walker Warden's 2011 transcription of this Bible register was modified by J. Tackett in 2014, and reformatted by Robin Richmond. The annotation by Robin Richmond is based on Janell's notes.
The first entry in this Bible register records the death of Jacob Armay Keebler I, who was born in Berks County, PA and died in Washington County, TN. It reads
Jacob Keebler, grandfather of this succeeding family deceased at his son Jacob's on Kindrick's Creek on this first day of September AD 1815 aged about 87 years an half
The handwriting shows that several people wrote in the Bible, but Janell Warden expressed confidence that his grandson Samuel Keebler/Kibler wrote many of the entries.
A copy of the register came to Janell from Chris Morris, from California, who can no longer be reached. Chris Womak Morris had copied this register from the family of her grandfather William Burgess Barkley. William Burgess was the son of Daniel Burgess and Prudence Mary Ann Ingersol Barkley
Note that
- There is some confusion over the references to the three Jacob Keeblers (father, son, and grandson; all named Jacob Armay Keeble) because the second Jacob is referred to as Jacob Jr on page 3 and as Jacob Sr on page 11. Because of that confusion, I, like several others, refer to them as Jacob Armay Keebler I, II, and III.
- Mary Barbara Young, wife of Jacob II is identified as "Mary Young" on page 3 and 4 and as "Polly" on page 5.

Jacob Keebler his Son was born on the Shore of the River Delaware in Newcastle County near Naaman's Creek, upon the twenty second day of October AD 1765.
Mary Young was born near Marcus Hook Chester County Pennsylvania, on September, seventeenth AD 1765. her parents being James & Barbara Young

The aforesaid Jacob Keebler and Mary Young were married by Edward Varnum esquire in Chester town & County on the Delaware River in the State of Pennsylvania on March eleventh, AD: 1785
