John Anderson Matheny

My great, great, great grandfather; buried next to his wife Lucinda Deatherage in Owen Cemetery (sometimes called Owen-Jaquess cemetery) in Jackson County, Tennessee. His daughter, Mary Ann Matheny Kuykendall is buried just a couple of miles away in the much larger Symrna Cemetery in Cookville, Putnam County, along  many of their descendants.
