Charlie Horton, 83, a longtime resident of the Cee Vee community south of here died late Tuesday in a Childress hospital. Services are pending at Newberry Funeral home here, but services and burial will be In Cee Vee. Born Dec 5 1881 in Farmersvllle ,Tex, Horton moved to Cee Vee from Electra in 1945. He retired from farming in the Cee Vee area at age 80. Survivors include his wife Lula, a daughter Mrs. A Riddell of Cee Vee, a brother Tom of Tucumcari NM, a sister Mrs. Jess Williams of Quanah Tex, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
