  Kuykendall-ElijahR&Nancy-FamilyNotes This two sheet document probably dates from 1870, since the penmanship, format, and ink appear consistent for all entries to that date, plus the early death dates are recorded only for the month in which they occured, evidencing a vagueness of memory. After 1870, entries appear to be individually entered. There is no entry for the last child born, Nancy, or of her mother's death ensuing from Nancy's birth, nor are there any later entries. This may indicate that the author of the document, particularly the post 1870 entries, was Nancy Bratcher herself. After she died the document was put away. It passed to Nancy's daughter Joanna Kuykendall, then to Joanna's daughter Orah Delle Carroll. (Ancestry user edslane uploaded this document and presumably wrote the description above)
